NEW ZEALAND SINGER-SONGWRITER PAUL GURNEY RELEASED HIS ALBUM BLUE HORIZON IN 2023, A REFLECTION ON OUR EXISTENTIAL STRUGGLES AND THE POWER OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT.

The album features 11 songs, written and performed by Gurney, an Americana and Roots music artist who has performed for many years as part of The DeSotos. Blue Horizon is the musician’s second solo album and it explores personal themes, developed in Gurney’s writing over the past few years. It became the most-played New Zealand album globally on international roots radio for five weeks in April 2023.
